Physics

William Spencer Reeve is a Junior from Fresno, California, majoring in physics with a minor in math. He is a bassist, playing in KU’s Jazz Ensemble I in addition to projects unaffiliated with the University. In the fall of 2021, as the Undergraduate Research Fellow, Spencer will work with Faculty Fellow Daniel Tapia Takaki to show the broad usefulness of techniques applied by physicists studying the fundamental makeup of the universe. It’s their goal to explore how collaboration between the arts and science can make research more meaningful and produce results impossible without such a partnership.
