Textiles/fibers graduate student Anne Rogers shares examples from the Spencer’s collection and their own work and discusses how and why mending can be a radical act of making. Bring any textile in need of repair or transformation, or use one of our samples. All other supplies provided. We’ll experiment with different stitches and patches while sharing stories about the garments in our lives. All experience levels welcome. This workshop is also offered on Sunday, July 24, 2-4PM.
