The Spencer Museum of Art invites everyone, individually or in groups, to partake in the enriching experience our diverse collection of art has to offer. We ask that groups make reservations at least two weeks in advance for a guided tour. Self-guided groups of 10 people or more should also make an appointment for their visit to ensure that there is adequate space in the galleries.
Tour & Class Visit Information
The Museum’s trained volunteer docents conduct guided tours and class visits which last approximately one hour and are free of charge, though donations are accepted. We encourage discussion between the docent and museum visitors.

Museum Highlights
This online activity is part of an informal study on ways to motivate you to visit the Spencer, improve your experience, and encourage return visits. You will be introduced to the Museum first by viewing objects online and then looking at the same objects in the Museum, revealing the difference between a virtual and an actual experience with works of art.
