Tour of Lawrence affects SMA parking for July 5

The Spencer will be closed Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Please note that if you plan to visit the Spencer on Sunday, July 5, Mississippi Street will be closed to automobile traffic for the KU Campus Circuit Race portion of the inaugural Tour of Lawrence, a bicycle event featuring the region’s top amateur and professional cyclists.

To park, you’ll need to enter the parking garage next to the Kansas Union from Oread Avenue, approaching from the east via 13th Street or 14th Street. For more information on the Tour of Lawrence, please visit www.touroflawrence.com
