Join the Friends of the Art Museum to support, enhance, and connect to our programs and exhibitions. Experience the Spencer as an insider. Members enjoy special access to exhibition openings and spirited social events, regular updates on museum happenings, and discounts in the gift shop. Moreover, our Friends enable the museum to pursue its core mission goals of sharing art and innovation, sparking meaningful connections, and inspiring creativity and curiosity.

All individual members receive:
- Subscription to SMA’s quarterly newsletter and E-News
- Invitations to Friends-only exhibition previews and special events
- 10% discount in the Museum Shop
- Voting privileges for annual art acquisitions from Friends funds

Spencer Benefactors, Fellows, and Cornerstones receive all benefits above as well as:
- Free one-time use of the reception room

Memberships are tax deductible as allowed by law. The value of benefits received by Benefactor through Cornerstone levels is estimated at $50; members may decline the benefits and deduct the full amount.
