The Lakeshore Circus, 2010This haiku is one of many that Richard Wright composed. The quilt expresses the circus elephants arriving at the sea. With Mrs. Jackson, I learned how to piece together one man’s writing into a beautiful quilt. I chose The Lakeshore Circus because I felt it was a piece I was capable of making. It was a great experience that I think all people should try.Catherine Bell
