This was a great experience for me. It showed me how beautiful artwork can be and how creative I can be. I realized that I had to have a positive mind the whole time in order to succeed. I used different shades of brown so that the quilt would be more realistic and I put eyelashes on my quilt to bring his eyes out more. It seemed as if he was looking right at me, listening to everything I had to say. I chose to do Martin Luther King, Jr., because he was very positive and I am inspired by him.
