Purple Haze: Haiku #423, 2010
My cigarette glows
Without my lips touching it,—
A steady spring breeze.
I chose this haiku because of the mental image that I got when I read it. We made our quilt with waves and contrasting shapes to add movement and dimension to the quilt. This project required focus, determination, and responsibility.Vladislav Vladimirovich Buglak

I chose this haiku because when I read it my mind went in all directions. I knew I could be creative with this haiku and I think I put all of my creativity into my quilt.Cody DeFazio
