  2. Describe the textures of each material used in this piece.
  3. Is this sculpture symmetrical or asymmetrical?
  4. What shapes has the artist repeated?
  5. What materials are natural and which are human-made?
  6. How are the human-made parts different from those of a real flower or plant? Are some parts stylized (simplified) or exaggerated?
  7. Do you think this was made to look at from just the front side or from all sides?
  8. Look at the back side. How should it be displayed?
  9. Do you think the artist based the sculpture on something she saw in nature, or did she use her imagination?
  10. Compare and contrast the handmade traditions used in the creation of these works as well as the use of natural materials.
