DESCRIPTION:Join us for a moderated conversation with Reverend Wheeler Parker Jr., cousin and childhood best friend of Emmett Till and the last living eye-witness to the whistle and the kidnapping that set the tragedy in motion. A book signing will follow the discussion. The Raven Bookstore will sell books on site. We have reached capacity and are no longer accepting registrations. There are still ways you can experience the Reverend’s talk: We will release any unoccupied seats 15 minutes prior to the event’s start time and will also have a secondary overflow space at the Museum to watch a live simulcast of the program.
