The seventh quadrennial Italian Renaissance Sculpture Conference (aka: Provo/Athens) will convene at the University of Kansas 8-10 November 2012. William E. Wallace, Barbara Murphy Bryant Distinguished Professor of Art History at Washington University, will deliver a plenary lecture the evening of Thursday, 8 November, followed by a reception. Papers will be presented on Friday and Saturday 9 and 10 November. The conference coincides with the exhibition Giorgio Vasari and Court Culture in Late Renaissance Italy on view at the Spencer Museum of Art from 15 September to 9 December 2012.
The conference is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
