We aim to provide an accessible website built in accordance with best practices for accessibility and web standards. Therefore this website is created using standards compliant XHTML and CSS.
If you validate our site's CSS you could receive a error message about "text shadow". Text Shadow is a proposed CSS3 property. Apple’s Safari browser supports it (also Shiira and all browsers based on WebKit). Because text-shadow is still just a proposed property, the W3C CSS 2.1 (the current standard) validation service does not recognize it. When the W3C CSS validation service does not recognize a property, attribute, or value, it flags it as an error. That’s a reasonable thing for the validator to do. But in this case, we have written the text-shadow property and its values correctly per CSS3 specs. If you check the validation with CSS3 the validation service is correct. Its error message in this case is not a real error, and does not prevent the use of text-shadow in browsers that have adopted CSS3 specs.
